Developed in cooperation with Dashwood Cinema Solutions, the Dashwood 3D chart combines proven DSC front lit chart technology with advanced digital trackers to rapidly identify and correct errors in 3D alignment. Designed to be used with Dashwood Cinema Solutions Stereo3D CATTM (or Stereo3D ToolboxTM) software, the Dashwood 3D provides an exact positional reference for both manual and software based 3D stereoscopic setup.

Using the local Wi-fi network, exact positional data is transmitted to the charts integrated iPad display, where the tracker application shows users the exact changes that must be made to bring the cameras into alignment. Setup the chart, plug in the software and watch as the Stereo3D does even the most complicated stereoscopic calculations, right before your eyes.

In addition to DSC Labs industry standard ChromaDuMonde camera matching colors chips, the Dashwood 3D also features:

• Precision digital markers - provide Dashwood Stereo3D software with the positional data it requires to do a full range of 3D alignment calculations (Accurate within 1/1000th of an inch)

• Corner Fiddleheads - allow for a quick check of corner resolution and focus

• Gradient grayscales - match camera gamma curves quickly and easily

• Positional Stars - provide a visual reference to check for rotational, zoom and vertical disparities

• Rear viewing slots - with 0.7, 1 and 2% screen width markers (100% is full chart when properly framed) to check positive parallax (PP) between cameras - PP must be carefully checked and adjusted depending on the size of the screen ex. on a 30ft screen PP should not exceed 65mm

• Center mount iPad® display - communicates through Wi-Fi with Stereo 3D software providing heads up display of Stereo3D tracker application - Tracker software displays rotational, zoom, vertical, tilt and toe disparities instantaneously as the rig / cameras are adjusted (iPad sold separately)

• Negative parallax marker - provides a negative parallax cue to confirm proper calibration

• Award winning software support - Stereo3D CAT and Stereo3D Toolbox provide stereographers with an unrivaled on-location calibration and analysis system that removes all of the complexities associated with stereoscopic 3D camera calibration. When interfaced with the Dashwood 3D chart, stereoscopic alignment is possible at lightning fast speeds. (Stereo3D software sold separately)
