Winter Olympics
CamAligns were everywhere at the Olympics in Torino

Our thanks to Mel Gargus

for these shots of CamAligns in action in Torino.  Mel worked the figure skating and short track venue at Palavela

A lot of talent in one picture
Mel holding his CamAlign (with resolution trumpets), next is TD and video engineer John Johnson, then Dean Hayter with his favorite ChromaDuMonde and Drew Kelsey.

The group was working with World Feed

using the Alfacam OB11 mobile.  The  unit was equipped with 19 cameras including Thomson HD, Super motion, Pole and Cone cameras.

Stay tuned for more pictures of DSC charts in action at the Olympics

Many thanks to Dean Hayter . . .

. . . for this shot of Dean with CDM at the  Figure Skating and Short Track Speed Skating venue at Palavela

. . .and for this kind comment -
"I want to thank you again for an awesome product, I would never go to a job with varied cameras without it".

Thanks to Chuck Pharis for these images from Super Bowl 2006

. . . also for these from

Disneyland's 50th Anniversary

Many thanks to Chuck Pharis for these pictures of this star studded event.  Art Linkletter, shown above with Chuck, was at both the opening and the anniversary celebrations

In addition to the movie and TV celebrities, the two RCA TK 30A cameras that Chuck has lovingly restored to operating condition were popular old-timers.

The cameras and control units were the same make and model as used at the opening ceremonies in 1955.

We would bet that Chuck's ChromaDuMonde test chart helped the TK 30's give better images today than they did 50 years ago.

CamAlign Charts were everywhere at the "Live 8" concerts

These masters of their trade all took their CamAligns to use at "Live 8"

Bill Pearson, Dean Hayter, and Charlie Goldman - snapped during a break.  The reason Bill is not wearing his CTV shirt is because he gave it to Neil Young.

CamAlign Charts - unsung heroes of the Academy Awards.

Many thanks to Jeffrey Happ for these images of CamAlign Charts at the Oscars.
